Ambassador program extends to second UW campus
The WBA campus ambassador program is expanding to a second campus after its pilot year at UW-Oshkosh. Two students at UW-Whitewater will serve as WBA ambassadors starting in the fall semester. Listeners help Sparta station raise $24,000 for flood relief
COW97 (WCOW) listeners answered the call to raise money for neighbors affected by devastating flooding in west central Wisconsin. COW97 staff took to the streets collecting monetary donations and in just a few hours raised more than $24,000. The money raised will support the local “Adopt A Family” program.

Gubernatorial debate rescheduled
The WBA Foundation is rescheduling its planned statewide televised gubernatorial debate because of a campaign-related scheduling conflict. Station helps collect, distribute 50,000 school supplies
Radio Milwaukee (WYMS-FM) joined other community partners in Milwaukee in collecting and distributing more than 50,000 school supplies to students in Milwaukee Public Schools.
