These terms of use (“Terms”) apply to this website (“Site”), which is owned and operated by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (“WBA”).

- Grant of License
Subject to the terms provided herein, WBA grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, revocable, non-sublicensable license to use the Site. WBA reserves the right to update or modify the Site at any time, from time to time in its sole discretion, including without limitation to increase or change the functionality of the Site. Notwithstanding the foregoing, WBA does not grant you any right or license to republish or disseminate any content on the Site or to use or display any of WBA’s logos, domain names, trademarks or other marks or other distinctive brand features in any medium or forum or for any purpose.
- Privacy
Any information that you provide to WBA is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs WBA’s collection and use of your information.
- Acceptable and Restricted Use of the Site
The graphics, photographs, images, screen shots, text, digitally downloadable files, trademarks, logos, product and program names, slogans, and other information on the Site (“Content”) is the property of WBA and its licensors, and is protected in the U.S. and internationally under trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property laws. You may only make and internally use copies of the Content for your internal, non-commercial use or with WBA’s prior express written authorization.
Without WBA’s prior express written authorization, you may not:
- use any systems or means, automated or otherwise, to access, acquire, copy, scrape, harvest, or monitor any part of the Site;
- use any device, software, hardware, or other technologies or initiate any other activities that may harm or interfere with the Site and the proper working of the Site;
- use, display, mirror, frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose the Site or the content made available through the Site, or any portion thereof, through any other application or website;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, applications, functionality, underlying ideas, or structure or organization of the Site;
- seek to discover the account information of another person or a Member, such as login information and/or password of a Member, and/or access the Site through another person’s or a Member’s account without proper authorization; or
- otherwise exceed your limited access to the Site as authorized by WBA.
- Event Registration and Other Fees
The Site allows you to register for certain events and services and submit other payments, including membership dues. For events and other programs, you must be a current Member of WBA to register using the Member discount rate. Students may be required to show Student ID at events to obtain the Student discount rate for applicable programs. All other registrations must use the Non-Member rate.
Cancellations made prior to the early or regular registration deadline for any program are refunded in full. Cancellations made after the registration deadline, or after the early registration discount deadline on applicable programs are not refundable. These deadlines vary by program; check each program page for details. Dues payments and award entry fees are not refundable.

The Site is provided “AS-IS”. WBA and its licensors expressly disclaim any warranties with respect to the Site, including without limitation, any statutory or implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. WBA does not warrant that the Site will meet your requirements, that the operation of the Site will be continuous or error-free, that the Site will operate as intended or at all under all conditions, that any defects in the Site will be corrected, that our Site will be virus-free, or that any information or content provided by WBA is accurate or representative of any other information.
You agree that these Terms do not entitle you to any support, upgrades, updates, add-ons, patches, enhancements or fixes for the Site. WBA may, but is not obligated to, provide any of the foregoing at any time, in WBA’s sole discretion.
- Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
In no event shall WBA, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Site; (c) any content obtained from the Site; and (d) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not WBA has been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold WBA harmless, as well as its licensee(s) and licensor(s), and its or their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees), resulting from or arising out of (a) your use and access of the Site, by you or any person using your account and password, or (b) a breach of these Terms.
- Governing Law
These Terms and your acceptance thereof shall be deemed made in, governed by, performed in, and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the state of Wisconsin, U.S.A., without giving effect to its conflicts of laws provisions or principles. Any action, suit or other proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms shall be brought in a court of competition jurisdiction in the state of Wisconsin and you hereby consent to the sole jurisdiction of such courts. You agree that any proceedings to resolve or litigate any dispute will be conducted solely on an individual basis and you shall not participate in any class action against WBA or join or consolidate any claims that you have against WBA with the claims of any third parties. You also agree to waive the right to litigate disputes in court before a jury.
- Changes
From time to time WBA may update this Site and/or these Terms without notice. Your use of this Site constitutes your agreement to changes to these Terms. You should check the Site for such changes frequently.
