Y100 (WNCY) in Green Bay is adding Natalie “Nat” Gross as the new co-host of the Y100 Morning Show. Gross steps into the role previously held by morning veteran Charli McKenzie.

Gross brings more than a decade of storytelling experience to Y100, first in her award-winning journalism career, then as a podcaster, and most recently as host of a morning radio show at Life 102.5 in Madison. Originally from Virginia, she relocated to Wisconsin with her family in 2023 and says she’s embraced the region quickly.

“I haven’t mastered the ‘Midwest goodbye’ just yet,” she said, “but the accent has definitely found its way into my vocabulary.”

Gross joins longtime morning personality Randy “Shotgun” Shannon, who recently added Y100 Brand Manager to his title.

“Listeners are going to love Nat,” Shannon said. “She brings warmth, humor, and a storyteller’s instinct that fits perfectly with what makes Y100 special. I can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’re building together.”

Gross holds a master’s degree in journalism from Georgetown University. Outside the studio, she enjoys theater, playing piccolo, reading or watching historical fiction, traveling whenever possible, and practicing Spanish as a proud half-Colombian.

She joins the Y100 Morning Show this week.
