The WBA Awards Gala, scheduled for May 6 at the Madison Marriott West, is sold out.
The reception will begin at 5 p.m. with an open bar until 5:45 p.m. While drinks are complimentary only during the reception, there will be a cash bar available during the dinner and awards presentations. The dinner and awards presentations will begin promptly at 6 p.m.
This year’s theme is the Great Gatsby. I am told that there are some who NEVER have heard of The Gatsby. For your inspiration, check out the following link Have fun with it!
You can participate in the WBA Foundation’s 50/50 Raffle by purchasing a raffle ticket. You will have the opportunity to purchase tickets 1 for $20, 3 for $50 and 7 for $100. One lucky guest will win half of the proceeds raised. Your donation will benefit the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation activities.
Andrea Behling will again join us as our Digital reporter. If you’re on Snapchat, follow us at “wibroadcasters” and look for the WBA gala event filter. We’d love to see your pictures from the Gala. Tweet them using the hashtag #wbagala and post them to the WBA Facebook page or Facebook group.
