I have faith in the future of this business because I think we still haven’t tapped the full potential of electronic media.
Communication technology has evolved faster than our ability to use it to its full potential.
I’ve felt this way since my younger days listening to the radio and watching television with my family. The power of these mediums is immense and often understated in my estimation.
And yet, I think there’s more power there.
Here’s the rub….I don’t know where that potential resides. I’m not sure anyone in the business does. Our kids are more likely to find it. Finding it requires creativity that comes from viewing the business from the outside.
New technology adds a more dynamic layer, but the same idea applies. As amazing as the new development in technology are, we’re still not using them to our full creative potential.
