Telemundo Wisconsin (WYTU-TV) in collaboration with Alverno College celebrated their 4th annual Backpack Drive on Aug. 4.
Hundreds of children came to Alverno College to receive a brand-new Telemundo backpack filled with supplies for the upcoming school year. Anchors Miguel Ramírez and Gilmarie Morales greeted and distributed over 200 backpacks filled with school supplies.
More than 400 people attended the event.
Alverno College provided educational resource tables and activities.
