New midday host joins Racine radio station

In the News People

Wisconsin radio veteran Dan Markus joined WRJN as midday host on Nov. 27.

Markus most recently hosted the midday show at WVBO in Appleton/Oshkosh and prior to that was program director at WOGB in Green Bay.

He replaces Cindy Huber who stepped down from her full-time role at the station to spend more time on her family business. She will remain with the station as a fill-in host and may add some weekend hours in the new year.

“Dan helps us maintain the high standard that Cindy set with this station and format,” WRJN VP/General Manager Chris Moreau Moreau said. “His knowledge and love for the music from this era and overall experience makes Dan the perfect fit for Racine, WRJN and Civic Media.” WRJN will begin its 98th year of continuously serving Racine and Racine County on Dec. 6.
