Milwaukee TV station CBS 58 (WDJT-TV) is partnering with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin to collect jars of peanut butter and jelly for families in need.

The PB&J Challenge is in its 23rd year and aims this year to raise 1 million peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, or the equivalent.

PB&J Challenge spokesperson and Milwaukee Bucks player Bobby Portis Jr. joined Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin on Feb. 5 to face off against four local kids in a PB&J sandwich making competition on CBS 58.

“I had stiff competition, you know, they were prepared and ready to beat me. They did whatever it took to win, too, so gotta shout-out the competition,” Portis said.

CBS 58 Chief Meteorologist Drew Burgoyne even gave Portis and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin a shoutout during the CBS 58 weather report that airs during halftime of Bucks games at Fiserv Forum.
