The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association (WBA) can be your single point of contact for working with the radio and television stations throughout the state of Wisconsin. We make working with more than 300 member stations simple by offering services that will make your job easier. Whether you are looking to distribute news about your business or organization or advertise goods and services, the WBA can offer you a service to make you more effective.
Publicity Releases:
It is critical for your release to land in the hands of the right people. Radio & television station staffs change frequently, as do phone numbers, emails and addresses. Keeping a current database is a time-consuming task. We can guarantee that your publicity news release will get into the hands of the appropriate person at each of these member stations. The WBA Publicity News Release Service will send your publicity news release via email to more than 300 radio and television member stations.
Messages from political campaigns, regarding political issues or other controversial matters are not eligible for this service. The WBA reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any releases it believes are inappropriate for forwarding to its members.
Cost:
For a one-page (approx. 400 words) release to the stations, the cost is $150. Each additional page is $75.
