WSAW NewsChannel 7 in Wausau has promoted Gunnar Tessmer to Director of Sales for WSAW-TV, WZAW-TV, and its sister properties WYOW-TV and ESAW-TV.

Tessmer is an Athens native and graduate of UW-Stevens Point. He previously served as the station’s multimedia/digital sales manager, a role he held since 2022. Tessmer joined the station as a media executive in 2017.
