Green Bay areas culinary professional Jyll Everman will be the new host of WLUK-TV’s long-running lifestyle program, FOX 11 Living.

Everman gained national exposure as a finalist on season seven of Food Network’s “Next Food Network Star.” She has more than 20 years of experience in the business of combining food with family. The station said Everman is passionate about combining her farm-to-table cooking knowledge with sharing news about shopping locally and highlighting community involvement and connection.

“When we started talking to Jyll about the opportunity, it was quickly clear that her love of food and all things local was infectious,” Jay Zollar, Vice President and General Manager of WLUK FOX 11 and WCWF CW14 said. “She brings her own style and unique cooking skills to FOX 11 that our audiences will embrace. In addition, we are expanding the role of FOX 11 Living Executive Producer, Abby Destree, increasing her involvement on the show, as well as hyper-focusing on FOX 11 Living’s social and digital presence. We could not be more excited for this new era, focused on continuing a deep connection to northeast Wisconsin.”

“It’s my absolute joy to bring my no-nonsense recipes, tips and tricks to the viewers,” Everman said. “My goal is to make everyone’s day as delicious as possible, whether I’m cooking it myself or teaching you how to do it in your own kitchen.”

FOX 11 Living airs weekdays at 10 a.m. on WLUK-TV, with expanded content on-air, at fox11online.com, and the show’s social media accounts.

Everman was born in Green Bay and earned her culinary degrees from Epicurean Culinary Arts Academy in Los Angeles. She is co-owner of one of northeast Wisconsin’s culinary destinations, Gather on Broadway. With appearances on Food Network, The Today Show, Rachael Ray and Iron Chef, she said she is excited to bring her years of culinary skills along with her busy-life recipes to FOX 11’s market-leading linear and digital platforms. When not working, she is busy with her two boys, Jack (11) and Luke (9) and her husband Tommy, walking their crazy Bernese Mountain puppy.
