The Nationwide Periodic Test of the Emergency Alert System was a success not only in Wisconsin, but nationwide. I only had a few issues in the state reported to me, and each of those was a station-level problem.
After the test, I was on a call with the FCC, FEMA, and other State Emergency Committee chairs, and the reports from each state were positive. There were no reports of major issues with the wireless or broadcast alerts.
