This week’s Weekly Radio Addresses from Wisconsin’s Capitol discuss rebate for taxpayers and a proposal to ban partisan gerrymandering. These addresses are available for Wisconsin broadcasters to use as they see fit. Here are the summaries from WisPolitics:

— In this week’s GOP radio address, state Sen. Julian Bradley, R-New Berlin, knocks Dem Gov. Tony Evers for opposing a call from Senate Republicans to send rebates to taxpayers.

Bradley says Evers “abused the partial veto,” creating 400 years of property tax increases. He adds Senate Republicans have been working on fixes that include overturning the veto and ensuring a governor can’t make a similar move in the future.

 – In this week’s Dem radio address, Gov. Tony Evers touts a special session he’s called to ban partisan gerrymandering. 

“I’m calling a special session of the Wisconsin State Legislature on April 14th to take up a constitutional amendment to ban partisan gerrymandering once and for all in Wisconsin,” the Dem governor says.  Read the full story. (WisPolitics/State Affairs
