This week’s Weekly Radio Addresses from Wisconsin’ Capitol are about a lookback to 2025 and a proposed sandhill crane hunting season. These addresses are available for Wisconsin broadcasters to use as they see fit. Here are the summaries from WisPolitics:

— In this week’s Dem radio address, Gov. Tony Evers touts accomplishments in 2025, saying it was a “really big year” for Wisconsin. 

“I signed our biennial budget into law, which was a great pro-kid budget, with investments in our kids at every age and every stage, from early childhood to K-12 through college,” the Dem governor says. “That budget also included important investments in our farmers, cut taxes for middle-class families and retirees, lowered out-of-pocket costs by eliminating the sales tax on utility bills, and continued our work to fix the darn roads.”

— In this week’s GOP radio address, Rep. Paul Tittl says a GOP bill to establish a sandhill crane hunting season “strikes a balance between conservation, agriculture and outdoor recreation.”
