TMJ4 (WTMJ-TV) in Milwaukee has hired veteran meteorologist and Milwaukee native Lindsey Slater as the newest member of Storm Team 4.
Slater has nearly two decades of forecasting experience, including the last 10 years serving viewers in southeast Wisconsin. She debuted on TMJ4 on Monday and will be seen regularly alongside Chief Meteorologist Brian Niznansky during TMJ4’s weekday evening newscasts.
“Lindsey knows southeast Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin knows and trusts Lindsey,” said TMJ4 Chief Meteorologist Brian Niznansky. “Her passion and weather knowledge, combined with deep local roots, are hard to find. As part of Storm Team 4, she’s well‑positioned to serve as a trusted voice for viewers who already rely on her for accurate and dependable weather coverage.”
Slater has covered significant weather events, including severe thunderstorm outbreaks, tornado warnings, and major winter storms.
“I’m thrilled to rejoin Milwaukee television and become part of the Storm Team 4 family,” Slater said. “Weather affects everyone’s daily life, and I’m passionate about helping people stay safe and informed. The opportunity to work with Brian Niznansky and the entire TMJ4 team, while staying connected to the community through our innovative approach, is unique and something I’m looking forward to.”
Slater’s addition expands Storm Team 4 to five meteorologists.
