Bilingual Multi-Media Journalist/Producer

CBS-58 and Telemundo Wisconsin seeks an experienced Bilingual MMJ/Producer to complement our news team. Responsibilities are primarily reporting and producing an 11am newscast, but may include acting as a Multi-Media Journalist for daily assignments. This job requires a self-starter with good news judgment, strong writing ability and solid live skills. We are looking for a storyteller.


Excellent verbal and written Spanish language skills required.

Must have a minimum of two years, news experience in shooting and reporting, including gathering content, editing, and running live shots.

Must have strong live skills and the ability to research, write, shoot, and edit daily news stories under deadline pressure.

Must have a valid driver’s license. 

Investigative reporting a plus.

Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws.

Morning News Producer

WISC-TV is actively searching for a News Producer to help lead our 2.5 hour morning news. This overnight position will work with another producer to help build a dynamic, energetic, and engaging morning show. This person will understand the need to produce news as it happens. Our show places a priority on new content and offering viewers live pictures from around the world. You’ll help direct overnight crews to breaking news and work closely with our technical crew on presentation. Specific duties include working closely with the Executive Producer to determine content needs and story ideas on a daily and long-term basis. The successful candidate will write clearly for multiple platforms, including our website. Social media proficiency is required. Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with excellent news judgement who can deliver relevant and interesting stories every day and who can motivate our staff and produce compelling television.
