Woodward Radio Group, a division of employee-owned Woodward Communications, Inc. is accepting applications for a Flexible full-time (30-39 hours per week) Afternoon Talk Show Host for our News/Talk station, WHBY, in the Appleton/Oshkosh/Green Bay, Wisconsin Market. Woodward Radio Group is a recognized industry leader, having won multiple local, regional and national awards for its programming. We operate six stations in the Oshkosh, Appleton, and Green Bay, Wisconsin markets.

Qualified candidates should have professional announcing experience and must be passionate and knowledgeable about current news, political, entertainment, and other topics at a regional and local level. They should be community focused, dynamic, reliable, versatile and be able to discuss a variety of different topics.

Experience working in news, imaging, social media, video editing and/or websites are a plus. Knowledge of Adobe Audition and Audio Vault are preferred.

Position Description and Responsibilities: Results Broadcasting is looking for multi-talented individual that can do it all for its small market operation in Antigo, Wisconsin. Some of the responsibilities: • Host the morning show on Country 106 • Produce/host the Breakfast Club inside the Morning Show on Country 106 • Record, produce and schedule commercials and promos • Record, interview local clients and guests • Write station imaging and creative • Write and produce daily local sportscast • Host weekly Shopping Shows • Daily updating of website, Facebook, etc. • Contest design, preparation and execution • Take the lead in planning, setup and hosting live broadcasts • Prepare the weekly broadcast schedule • Schedule announcers and board operators weekly • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to studio and transmission equipment • Anything and everything else that would be needed to help these stations succeed There is an opportunity for play-by-play of local high school sports but isn’t necessary to be considered.
