Are you Ready?
Many radio and TV stations in Wisconsin are now broadcasting in digital. This website, a public service of the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association, was designed to help you better understand HD Radio and HDTV. To enjoy all the benefits of digital broadcasting you need to be ready.
February 17, 2009 is the day all TV stations will stop broadcasting an analog
signal. This is the day broadcasters are required, by the federal
government, to stop broadcasting in analog which is the regular TV you are
watching today. To watch TV you will need one of the new HDTV sets or use a
special converter box which will allow your analog TV to continue working.
