Broadcaster ID Card Program

One of the primary MSRC missions is "to ensure that broadcast stations stay on the air during a disaster or are returned to the air as soon as possible". To that end, WBA has reached an agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Justice to offer state-issued ID cards to broadcast transmitter engineers. These cards will aid transmitter engineers in crossing police lines in times of disaster to keep the transmitters on the air. These ID cards can also be used by MSRC ECC's when reporting to the local EOC, as requested by local officials. For complete details, see the Wisconsin Broadcaster Emergency Personnel ID Card Program page on this WBA website.
