Wisconsin Broadcasters Association

Since 1951, The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association is the only trade
association which supports, promotes and represents all radio and
television broadcasters in Wisconsin. The WBA's membership is comprised of
90% of all radio and televisions stations in Wisconsin, as well as
associate member companies who provide services to the state's
broadcasting industry. Member services include a variety of education
programs, state and national legislative and legal and regulatory advisory
services, and a host of networking opportunities. |

Mission Statement
|
The purpose of the Wisconsin
Broadcasters Association shall be to foster and promote the development of the arts of
aural and visual broadcastings in all its forms; to protect its members in every lawful
and property manner from injustices and unjust exactions; to do all things necessary and
proper to encourage and promote customs and practices which will strengthen and maintain
the broadcast industry to the end that it may best serve the public.
Wisconsin Broadcasters Hall of Fame
The Wisconsin Broadcasters Hall of Fame was established in 1989 by the
Wisconsin Broadcasters Association and is wholly supported by the
Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation. It was founded to
provide recognition for individuals who have worked in broadcasting
for at least 15 years, at least 10 of them in Wisconsin, and who have
made significant contributions to broadcasting, their communities and
their state.
Since its inception in 1989, 94 outstanding contributors to the
broadcast industry have been inducted into the Wisconsin Broadcasters
Hall of Fame.
